So, it’s the new year and all. 2010. Here we go…
I am trying to get some goals established and some direction in my life. I feel like most of the time I am just lazy and spend most of my time wasted. I am going to try and set some ground rules for me and get over some stubborn habits.
1)Write more. I do want to write. I enjoy writing and hope to one day get published. To do so requires practice. So, practice I shall!
2)Domestication! I will domesticate myself even if it kills me. That means being responsible with my house, setting schedules, and planning out grocery lists…le sigh….
3)Buy a curling iron. I haven’t really owned one since….uhh, high school?
4)Be a bit more diligent when it comes to my whole spirit/religion thing. Honestly, I just end up lazy again and prefer sleeping instead of praying at night…NO MORE! Also, be brave enough to go to the temple.
5)Use the gym at my apartment complex. It’s free, it’s indoors, and why am I not taking advantage of it?….A side goal would be to get some type of work out clothes.
6)And lastly, I would really like to post some more posts on my blog. I spend a lot of the time looking up other people’s blogs and never really doing anything with mine. It will make me practice writing, spelling…, and picture taking!
After doing great battle with my old computer, Jon finally convinced me that it was time to get a new one. The old girl just couldn’t take it anymore. It took about twenty minutes to upload a webpage, closed down all the time on facebook, and refused to turn off or on properly. Now, this new baby will make all the difference, hopefully with school work and blogging. Granted, I’m not looking forward to the hours I’ll need to redownload my music, documents, and pictures. But it must be done.
So, with new computer in hand, a list of goals, and a brand new year….bring it on.
